The Masterpiece Style & Speed Showcase

The Scott Schwertfeger Group was again a proud sponsor of The Masterpiece Style & Speed Showcase. The event featured rare and exotic Ferraris, Bentleys, Porsches, Maseratis and Mercedes from around the world. Proceeds benefited the Jewish Family Services (JFS), a social services agency that assists individuals of any race, religion, income or lifestyle. JFS provides meals to homebound elderly; counseling for children, adults and families in distress; support to individuals with mental illness; and teaches life skills to those living with developmental disabilities - regardless of their ability to pay.

I Back Jack: Finding Cures for Childhood Cancer

Scott Schwertfeger and his office were proud sponsors of the "I Back Jack" Foundation's Back to School Golf Event and Dinner in September 2009. The "I Back Jack" Foundation's mission is to fund research initiatives for neuroblastoma and related pediatric cancers. This organization was started by John and Sarah Bartosz, whose son, Jack, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at age 4. This event helped the foundation raise $55,000 in its first year.

Jack looks forward to personally delivering the $55,000 check to the doctors and research team at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center when he returns to the hospital for ongoing tests and scans.
