 With designations that include Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant, Mark Schueller brings a unique perspective to the various uses of life insurance for business succession, executive compensation and estate analysis. Prior to joining the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Mark was affiliated with a national accounting firm and served as chief financial officer for a Milwaukee-based corporation.
Mark Schueller received his B.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He is a past president of the Milwaukee Chapter of the Chartered Life Underwriters and is a member of the Milwaukee and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Estate Counselors Forum, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Society of Accountants and Association for Advanced Life Underwriting.
Mark Schueller has qualified as a member of the Forum and the Court of The Table, which honor top financial services producers worldwide. He also has received the National Quality Award numerous times.
Martin Sidney Matsoff, CLU, CPA

 Martin Matsoff joined Northwestern Mutual in 1988 after nearly 20 years in the accounting industry. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and became a CPA in 1972. After beginning his career with Arthur Young & Co., Martin Matsoff served as the President of a Milwaukee-based business for more than 12 years. Later, he would become chief financial officer of a closely held conglomerate that owned Wisconsin’s largest hotel, two tennis facilities and numerous shopping and entertainment centers.
During the course of his Northwestern Mutual career, Martin Matsoff has achieved numerous industry accomplishments. He has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and earned the National Quality Award and has qualified for the Court of the Table and Top of the Table. Outside of his career, Martin Matsoff dedicates his time to numerous hospitals and community and children’s centers.
Ronald Via

 Ron Via graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a B.A. in political science. He is licensed in life, accident and health insurance and is a registered representative with Northwestern Mutual Investment Services.
In addition to insurance and securities sales, Ron Via specializes in portfolio allocation, risk management, education funding, retirement solutions and national group employee benefits program design.
Ron Via engages in a variety of hobbies that include running, weight lifting, biking, boating, aviation, and water and snow skiing.
Geoff Aster

 Geoff Aster was born and raised in Milwaukee. He graduated with a B.S. degree in political sciences from UW-Madison, where he spent several years working in the political arena.
After graduation, Geoff Aster returned to Milwaukee and spent four years working for a fortune 500 company in back-office finance. Geoff realized that face-to-face interaction and the ability to really help those around him was missing. After meeting with several members of the Schwertfeger Group, Geoff joined the group as the Director of Selection. In the selection role, Geoff helped successful individuals with decisions regarding their careers and a career as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual. While the Director of Selection, Geoff Aster found that the Financial Representative role was the right career for him.
Geoff Aster is licensed in life, disability and long-term care insurance.
Geoff resides in Bayside and enjoys spending time with friends, attending sporting events of all kinds, and stays active in skiing, golfing, softball and tennis.
Ben Shapiro

 Ben graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Hebrew studies and a minor in Jewish studies. He spent nearly seven years specializing in commercial real estate in the greater Milwaukee area, and earned a CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member). He was drawn to Northwestern Mutual by the opportunity to work with Martin Matsoff and to help clients achieve financial goals while building long-term and meaningful relationships.
Ben and his wife, Roxanne, live in Mequon with their daughter, Sienna. His interests include spending time with family, friends and sports.

Rich has more than 30 years of experience working with small- and medium-sized companies, and he retains his clients through high-quality service.
